Paintings on paper
Acrylic paints were used for the works on paper. Some are more or less realistic images of flowers, portraits, still lifes, landscapes and village scenes in Northern Drenthe.
However, most of the paintings have more abstract themes such as intertwinements, colour shifts and geometric shapes, often in combinations.
Most measure approximately 50 x 60 cm. The series from the years 1996-1997 have the unusual size of 20 x 60 cm; works from the final period (2008 – 2010) are as large as 150 x 200 cm.
